Everyone is welcome to visit the Library but if you want to enjoy the experience of using the Reading Rooms you must first have a valid reader's ticket.
Our general opening times and any changes are listed on this page e.g. bank holidays. Remember that we close early on Saturday.
The Library’s shop offers a wide range of unique and stylish products. From items for the home to stunning pottery, books and music. If you can't come to the Library, why not use our online shop?
Travel from Aberystwyth Station or the Prom to the National Library, the Sports Centre and the Arts Centre via Bus 03. A quick, cheap and efficent way of getting to the Library from town.
Why not pop to the Library for lunch or a cuppa? We offer a variety of hot and cold meals, along with delicious homemade cakes and drinks of all sorts. You can enjoy your coffee and sandwich in Caffi Bach's grand hall, or pop to Pen Dinas for a hot meal.
