The National Library of Wales (NLW) uses Google Analytics on its websites in order to collect statistical information to form reports on how users use our websites, which will in turn inform our future developments. This information is collected through ‘cookies’, which are text files that are placed on your computer to collect standard anonymous internet log information (including IP address) – which is then sent to Google. The National Library of Wales will not use the information gathered through Google Analytics to try and identify any of our web users, nor will we allow any third party to do so. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. Neither NLW, nor Google will link, or seek to link, an IP address with the identity of a computer user.
